Airbnb is seeking a Digital Asset Management & Tools Operations Lead to join Airbnb’s Marketing & Creative Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Creative Operations, this person will strategically lead, implement and manage our Creative Production tools, including the Digital Asset Management system housing all final creative assets (film, music, photography, graphic design, and marketing/campaign assets) and integrations between the DAM system and other creative production tools and pipelines. This person should have the ability to influence leadership stakeholders, as well as to lead hands-on technical projects. Responsibilities Production Tools Operations Ecosystem (50%): Evaluate/craft and drive Creative Production tools strategy, ecosystem, and briefs for the Creative + Marketing Ops team, including advocating for stakeholder buy-in and cross-functional team alignment Manage the relationship with tools vendors (including contract scope and negotiations, in partnership with Business Affairs Lead Manage special Creative Production and DAM systems operations-related assignments, including campaign-specific DAM integrations for photo content production Lead efforts to integrate and test with other Marketing-related technologies, including AI, to deliver overall cost and productivity gains that come with an integrated marketing suite of products, in partnership with cross-functional production stakeholders and DAM Consultant Establish metrics for measuring assets and tools usage; and report on how tools and assets are being utilized globally and regionally Digital Asset Management System Oversight (50%): Oversee Airbnb’s Data Asset Management system integrations, metadata and taxonomy, digital workflow process, security and governance, and documentation in partnership with internal stakeholders and DAM Consultant Hands on troubleshooting for DARYL / tools integrations Serve as the Marketing organization’s lead for user administration, process(es), and definition of roles within the DAM and other digital workflow systems TRAINING/RESEARCH/BEST PRACTICES Dedicate time to innovation and quality improvement by identifying new ways to achieve goals, keeping current with trends, and applying new concepts and solutions accordingly Training and development, leadership-level results reporting as needed Requirements 12-15 years experience iProduction Tools and DAM administration in Marketing, Advertising, Broadcast, or Entertainment or equivalent industries. / Comprehensive knowledge of production systems and enterprise digital asset management software Demonstrated expertise in digital content workflows and the ability to manage tools for scaled productions Knowledge of archiving, metadata, and taxonomy best practices Ability to maintain (and oversee the design/evolution of) systems for tagging images and cataloging taxonomy In-depth knowledge of file formats (print, digital and especially, video) and media usage rights terminology Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, Search Engine Optimization standards, talent/rights/legal contracts a plus Ability to operate, maintain, query, and update databases and systems Knowledge of the different marketing communication channels to effectively deliver information to different audiences with varied levels of access to technology Ability to work effectively as a leader and member of a cross-functional team We are open to the role sitting in Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle.
