Facebook seeks an experienced Product Marketing professional with strong background in product or direct marketing to drive product growth within Sub Saharan African Markets, supporting the wider Middle East and Africa team. The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial and have experience working with Sales teams (direct and indirect) Marketing, PR and Senior Leadership to drive product and platform adoption in a fast paced tech or online marketing company. They must thrive with cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent critical thinking and digital marketing skills. They must also have experience influencing senior stakeholders in a highly matrix organization. The position is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities To be a product/platform expert across the Facebook family of apps and to advocate these products in your region. Partner with Regional Sales leadership and other cross-functional teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth for our advertising solutions across Sub Saharan African markets. Drive product adoption growth using levers such as cross-functional partners, our external marketing partners, communications and PR, thought leadership, and traditional marketing & events. Operate at scale, while recognizing the need for one to one interactions or tailored approach to build our narrative. Support and feedback to global Product experts to land new products effectively in market. Train and empower cross-functional teams to be regional product champions. Develop half year growth plans to support regional revenue targets. Be an ambassador for your region on all things product within the team and region. Partner with internal teams to lead product projects critical to driving growth for your region. Lead and Execute the go-to-market strategy for Sub Saharan Africa. Minimum Qualifications 8+ years professional experience in technology, advertising, measurement, or business/sales operations. Has demonstrated product marketing expertise in the web and mobile advertising and the ability to contribute at strategic and tactical levels. Project management skills, with experience developing and executing marketing strategy Strong analytical skills and desire to solve complex problems with data Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers Strong customer service orientation and experience in a client facing capacity Excellent communication and presentation skills Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience working on digital performance verticals (E-comm and retail) Brings solid perspective on digital marketing, the industry & client objectives Entrepreneurial background and strong technical background an advantage
