Afrinection’s online networking platform allows you, users, to apply for jobs listed on our jobs board as well as post your own vacancies
As a company, this is the most stress-free process of posting a job in the digital age and finding new talent. Under the JOBS TAB on the Afrinection website, you won’t be able to miss the big, green “Post a New Job” button! This is where your African networking experience begins if you are looking to connect with African professionals and job seekers. Posting a job on Afrinection comprises five easy steps!
Step One: Create your jobs’ profile with specific reference to the company and its’ location within the African continent. A useful feature is that you can always save your job post as a draft and come back to it at a later stage!
Step Two: Create your job type based on the jobs’ position and salary. For example, is this a full-time, part-time, internship, volunteer or contractual position? Another great feature is that you can choose the currency as well as time period you would like the salary to reflect!
Step Three: Create a simple job description on your Afrinection network! Here, you have 1000 characters to explain the details of the job you are posting. The job description conveys the scope, complexity and the level of responsibility pertaining to the job. Remember that it is important to be concise and accurate in your description of the jobs’ duties.
A terrific added-feature of our Jobs Board is the “Add a Question” button! At this point, you can customize your post so as to ensure applicants are in line with the job specifications, your business needs and the company’s culture.
Step Four: At this step, you, as the company, have a choice in selecting the job posting options. The first option is the basic, free option: with this plan, you can create a company page, manage the job settings, utilize the benefit of sharing the job via email and cancel the plan at any time. The second option is that of the featured plan which can be purchased for only $50.00 per month! This includes additional features such as your jobs being displayed at the top of the Afrinection search results and in the Featured Jobs box.
Step Five: Simply review your job posting on the Afrinection network! At this step, the edit button to the right of the screen makes it easy to make small changes and quick fixes to your posting as well as check that all the details are correct.
Now, all you have to do is click on the green “Post A Job” button. There you have it: the simplest, quickest, most user-friendly process of posting a job and finding a new employee who will allow your company to grow and attract African investment.
