Since 2016, Afrinection has been serving African latent, start-ups and entrepreneurs in their journeys. There are 4 reasons why we are unique!
1. First of its kind
Nothing like Afrinection exists! Our integrated online platform was created in September 2016 to fill the gap between the on-continent African business community and its counterpart in the diaspora. For a long time, there has been a need for us as a game changer; an African online business, investment and start-up ecosystem like no other! As a result, Afrinection is Africa’s first integrated professional online networking, jobs, marketing and investment identification platform. We cater specifically to African business needs, so sign up for a profile, get involved on our website, and check out our blog page.
2. One-Stop Shop
Whether you are an individual looking for a job, a talent recruiter looking for the perfect fit for your business, a brand looking for digital marketing space or a business professional looking for investment opportunities: Afrinection is for everyone! As our founder, Kifle, says: “Afrinection has become a one-stop-shop of services which are available to you upon registering your free company or individual profile”.
Most importantly, Afrinection is a bold response to addressing the socio-economic challenges faced by Africa by creating an entirely new eco-system built by an African, for other Africans. Afrinection is a platform that addresses unemployment and the challenges in finding talent to fill job vacancies in Africa through a pan-African jobs page.
We also address the lack of opportunities for African professionals and those whose expertise is focused on Africa to connect with one another via a professional networking platform. It addresses the lack of visibility for African entrepreneurs, brands, products, and services by providing a platform for them to highlight their products and services for identification by prospective investors and mentors.
3. Information and knowledge are power
Another incredible part of the Afrinection platform is that it offers users interesting, up-to-date news about the African content. Our blog, for instance, focuses on informative industry highlights within the realm of African entrepreneurship, African networking and African investment! At the same time, we offer our members the opportunity to be interviewed for our Afrinection blog, enabling them to elaborate and expand on their business ideas and increase their brands’ awareness.
Our YouTube channel features new members, our existing entrepreneurs and their stories! Over the past two years, we have interviewed countless Afrinection members about their business and professional ventures. Take a look at some recent videos or Afrinection community members by visiting our YouTube channel!
These blogs and YouTube videos are shared across our social media platforms which reach over 35,000 users across the continent and abroad! If you would like to have your interview posted and are registered on Afrinection, please email Tolu at support@afrinection.com
4. Easy-to-use tracking system
When searching for a job, creating a new job posting or creating advertisements on Afrinection, the network allows for detailed search filters. This makes it extremely easy to find exactly what you are looking for - whether it be a job, a member you are interested in hiring or an advertisement on the advertising page! It is EASY to apply for a job, it is EASY to search for a member and it is EASY to track applicants!
