At Afrinection, we are working with a group of talented and ambitious young people from across the continent and the diaspora. Their task is to help us keep tabs on what is happening on the ground whilst promoting what we do and offer to African professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, and job seekers. The reason is simple: Africa is huge, comprising 54 different countries. This means we can't possibly be everywhere at the same time. Ihenacho Ikpe started out as our summer intern supporting us with Instagram and YouTube and is now helping us with that and advertising partner outreach.
1. Tell us a little about your background

2. Why did you get involved with Afrinection?
I got involved with Afrinection because of its appealing vision which in my opinion ensures a better present and future Africa.
3. Why is Afrinection the online platform for African entrepreneurs, job seekers, and professionals? Why should people get involved, from an advertising point of view?
We are on the ground across Africa, where our ambassadors and editor have a full understanding of the pulse of their regions apropos of interesting startups and organizations. The goal is to create an online platform that results in and foster cross branding, networking, and the exchange of ideas. In terms of advertising, it's a great avenue for investors and prospective advertisers to be part of a symbiosis of sorts, that essentially yields increased visibility of Africa's goods and services.
4. What is your vision for Afrinection and how do you see your role?
Afrinection is the world's go-to platform for job seekers, entrepreneurs, and professionals. My role is to ensure that certain social media platforms including YouTube and Instagram are curated to fit our members' needs, essentially creating an ecosystem that helps yield the interest of like-minded investors and advertisers.
5. What makes Africa such a great place for entrepreneurs and investors?
